Morris Minor Car Club of Queensland Inc.
Keeping Morris Minors on the road — and having a bloody good time doing it.
About MMCCQ
The Morris Minor Car Club of Queensland is a friendly group of classic car enthusiasts who love the simple charm, clever engineering, and timeless style of the Morris Minor.
We’re about driving them, maintaining them, and sharing the fun — with regular runs, social catch-ups, shows, and plenty of practical help for owners (and future owners).
The aim of the Club is to foster the preservation and active use of all models of the Morris Minor, providing a forum for the exchange of general information and technical advice whilst conducting a variety of motoring and social activities.
Membership of the club is open to any person who is interested in pursuing this aim.
What We Do
Monthly meets and social catch-ups
We get together regularly for a relaxed catch-up, a look over each other’s cars, and a good chat. It’s the easiest way to meet members and stay connected with what’s happening.
Club Runs (scenic drives, cafés, lunch stops)
Our runs are easy-going cruises with sensible meet points, a coffee stop, and usually a meal at the other end. You don’t need a “show car” — just a Minor you enjoy driving (or a curiosity to learn more).
Displays and Events
We attend local shows and community events to celebrate the Morris Minor and classic motoring. It’s a great chance to show the cars, meet other clubs, and share the Minor story with the public.
Tech Talk and Support
Need a second opinion, a parts lead, or help diagnosing a weird rattle? Members share practical knowledge, trusted contacts, and lessons learned the hard (and funny) way.
A Community
More than anything, we’re a friendly group of people who genuinely enjoy helping each other. Whether you’re restoring, maintaining, or just driving for fun, you’ll find your people here.
